Nameservers tell the internet where your domain "lives": which server answers for your website and email. Here is how to change them.
Blue Mint nameservers
If your website is hosted on a Blue Mint VPS plan with Plesk, use:
ns1.myhost.bluemint.grns2.myhost.bluemint.gr
If the domain is registered with Blue Mint
- Log in to the Client Area.
- Open My domains and select the domain.
- Click Nameservers.
- Choose the default nameservers or enter your own (e.g. if the site is hosted elsewhere).
- Click Change Nameservers to save.
If the domain is with another registrar
Log in to your registrar's control panel and enter the nameservers above there. Alternatively, you can transfer the domain to Blue Mint and keep everything in one place.
How fast does the change take effect?
The change spreads across the internet gradually. You may see the new site before someone else does. This is normal.
Note: once you change nameservers, DNS records are read from the new provider. If you have email or other services elsewhere, make sure their records exist there too. See Managing DNS records.
