Do you already have a domain with another registrar and want to manage it through Blue Mint? Here is how the transfer works.
Before you start
- Ask your current registrar for the transfer code (authorisation / EPP code). For .gr domains, the .gr registry's transfer code process applies.
- Make sure the domain is not transfer-locked at your current registrar.
- Check that the registrant's email address works, as confirmation may be needed.
- Do not let the domain expire during the transfer.
Steps
- Go to the Transfer domain page.
- Enter the domain and the transfer code.
- Add it to the cart, complete the order and pay the invoice.
- The transfer starts after payment. You can follow its progress in My domains.
What about my website and email?
A transfer only changes the registrar. Nameservers and DNS records usually stay the same, so your website and email keep working. If you also want to move your hosting to Blue Mint, change the nameservers afterwards as explained in Changing nameservers.
If the transfer code is rejected, ask your current registrar for a new one and let us know with a support ticket.
